Shandy Pan (Xinyi Pan) is an illustrator based in New York after completing her bachelor’s degree at the School of Visual Arts, class of 2023. Now living in NYC, Shandy’s illustrations focus on capturing the atmosphere and moments she encounters in this bustling city.
Shandy integrates her artworks with the serene qualities derived from her Asian upbringing. She finds that minor variations can evoke very different feelings in similar experiences. Fascinated by these often overlooked, changes and fearing that she might forget them, she visualizes and shares them through illustration.
Shandy mostly works in digital, gouache, ink, and pastel. Since graduating, her work has gained recognition from AI-AP, 3x3, and other platforms.
